Jog for Jay is held in honor of Jayson Robert Murset, who passed away in a car accident in 2021 at the age of 16. Jayson was loved by many and was counted as a loyal friend, exceptional athlete, beloved part of his family, and light to all who came in contact with him. He overcame the daily challenges of being a Type I Diabetic and had a passion for being physically active and spending time with family/friends. This event is an opportunity for us to come together to honor Jayson, raise money towards a scholarship in his name, and celebrate his life.
